Watching thrillers is not only a pleasure, but it can also provide cathartic emotional benefits. 
But some people find the blood and gore to be challenging and uncomfortable, which can be a deterrent to enjoying movies.

So we created Velveeta Cheesy Thrillers, a partnership with Netflix to transform the bright red tones of bloody thrillers into a delightful cheesy yellow, allowing you to enjoy the thrill of thrillers without the discomfort of seeing blood.











On Halloween, a new genre launched on Netflix, 
changing all the iconic movie posters from blood red to Velveeta gold. 

And social media was blasted with cheesy content to get people hyped for this new genre.

In partnership with IMDB, we encouraged audiences to leave cheesy reviews of their favorite new cheesy movies. Based on the best reviews, ratings, and streaming data, we launched the Velveeta Film Festival; a people’s choice theatrical release of our cheesy films.
